Guiding Principles

Health of Your Space is built on a Dolphin-centric data philosophy that prioritizes interoperability, transparency, and data integrity. These principles ensure alignment with orthodontic workflows while reinforcing trust with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders.

Dolphin as the System of Record

Health of Your Space recognizes Dolphin Imaging and Management Solutions as the authoritative system of record for patient and practice data. Our platform is designed to support and enhance Dolphin, not replace it.

Patient and practice information is primarily maintained within Dolphin, including data maintained in Dolphin spreadsheets when native fields are unavailable. Health of Your Space may also temporarily process, transmit, synchronize, cache, back up, or store information required to provide the Services, maintain platform functionality, support business continuity, facilitate integrations, or satisfy legal, regulatory, security, or operational requirements.

Health of Your Space as the System of Engagement

Health of Your Space serves as the digital experience layer that enhances patient and administrative interactions. The platform streamlines data collection, automates workflows, and synchronizes information with Dolphin to improve efficiency and accuracy.

By acting as the system of engagement, Health of Your Space enables practices to deliver modern digital experiences without disrupting their existing systems.

Guiding Principle

If Dolphin supports it, Health of Your Space syncs it.

If Dolphin does not, Health of Your Space supplements it within Dolphin.

This philosophy ensures:

  • No shadow systems
  • Complete data integrity
  • Seamless interoperability
  • Alignment with orthodontic best practices
  • Long-term scalability for healthcare providers
